In 1978, I began my journey at Bible Way Baptist Church in Dalton, Georgia, where I dedicated my time and efforts to serving the community. After that, I actively participated in Youth for Christ and served as a volunteer for five years under the guidance of Rick O’Hare. In recognition of my unwavering commitment, I was honored with an award for five years of faithful service.
Later on, in the mid-90s, I found myself at Andrew’s Memorial Baptist Church in GBO, North Carolina. In this role, I served as the Youth Pastor and also assisted in the Preaching and Teaching ministry. During that period, I took up a voluntary position at Camp Burton Prison in McLeansville, North Carolina. Every Sunday, I conducted church services and escorted prisoners to the services. This invaluable experience lasted for seven years.
Throughout my journey, I pursued further education to enhance my ministry capabilities. I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry from Andersonville Seminary in Camilla, Georgia. Additionally, I completed leadership classes for Elders and Deacons at Greensboro Bible Church, expanding my knowledge in ministry leadership.
In my commitment to serving the community, I undertook a 13-week study to become a Community Chaplain under the guidance of Dan McKenney in GBO, North Carolina. This role allowed me to provide spiritual support and guidance to the local community.
Through God’s providence, I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve as the Lead Pastor in my current position. I embrace this responsibility with a joyful heart and am grateful for all that God continues to accomplish within our congregation. My name is Frank Spaulding, and I am honored to be here.
